Mini charging and discharging management module based on LY3205. There is only one mini charging and discharging integrated module based on the LY3205 chip with the size of a Type-C port. The main feature is its small size, which can achieve single-button power on/off.

About LY3205 IC
LY3205 is a fully integrated motor drive control chip that integrates lithium battery charging management module, motor drive module, motor freewheel diode, key gear control, and protection module, with a standby current of only 5uA. The charging current of LY3205 is 0.6A, with the red light on during charging, the green light on when fully charged, the green light on during discharge, and the green light blinking to indicate low battery. LY3205 has a maximum output current of 1.3A and can also be used in applications requiring more than 1.3A by external expansion of PMOS tubes. LY3205 controls the output switch by single-clicking the button, with a single click to turn on and another single click to turn off.
External TTP223 touch module has been tested, and level signal can also be controlled Single chip realizes charging and discharging, button power on/off, and output protection functions. The maximum output is 1.3A, which can meet the power supply needs of most small-scale projects using a single chip.

The 0402 version is more crowded, and some routing can be optimized the maximum charging power is 2.5W, and no overheating issues have been found. If an LED is soldered according to my circuit diagram, the red light will be on during charging, and the green light will be on when fully charged.
